In 2019, Gauss established its Endowment Fund from the initial donation of André Longo Milanese and complemented with other donations.
The goal is to ensure the perpetuity of the projects, using only the income from the invested amount. Currently, the assets under management of the Fund are about R$2.7 million, and the goal is to reach R$10 million in the next three years.
The use of Fund resources ("Spending Rate") is limited to 5% of the net assets determined at the end of the last fiscal year.
The Gauss Endowment Fund is invested with Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo and is managed by the Investment Committee, an independent body from the Association's executive management, and composed of qualified members.
